Hi there!
Here is an example of the Nippon Budokan seat map,
so you can grasp where you are sitting and what entrance you would need to take or go.
The seat arrangement of Arena seems different from concert to concert,
so this is just a reference basis.
I made this as you can use along with the previous post on direction to Nippon Budokan
which means the west entrance (for Arena and 1F seats) will come to the right as
it was on the direction to Nippon Budokan post as well.
So the person like me do not have to flip over the map sort of things…… hahaha
not sure if this make sense….. anyways, guess there are some that understand what I mean :p.

The light brown things on the close up of 1F and 2F, they seem to be stairs.
If you want more detailed seat map
I have one that I downloaded from the Internet with much more details.
I kind of got hesitated to post it since they were fully and well made by someone else.
Looks issue on copyright……?
Leave a comment if you want it, then I will send the file to you ;).

hi nozomi! may i get the detailed seating map? i would like to purchase concert tickets in budokan & intend to get the floor level area, but the seat categories only display the price without the seating chart. there are two seat categories with 1000 JPY price difference. does the cheaper one means floor area? some website indicated that cheaper price usually situated in most uncomfortable viewing point. look forward to your reply. cheers! 🙂

Hi ajumi!
This is the seat map (the seat is different depends on the concert) that you can refer to.

I am not very certain what you mean by the most uncomfortable viewing point though… since I have not been to the Budokan, but I can probably try to check it for you ;). Good luck on finding the seat you like!

thanks for the link! apparently the seating was automatically selected & i got the 2nd level. well i hope it’s better than those last rows in level 1 that overlapped by level 2’s seating (the structural beam cut off your view a bit). wish me luck for the entire trip ;D

Hello everyone. I know this is a very old thread, but I’m going to give it a shot anyway. I live in the US and plan on visiting Tokyo next year and I will definitely schedule my trip when Yazawa Eikichi is playing. He usually plays in the Nippon Budokan but I have no idea how to get the best seats (and if I’m coming from the US for a concert, I definitely want good seats). I see a link here for a detailed map of the Nippon Budokan seating but the link is no longer working. Does anyone else have a link they could share with me?
Thank you.

Hi there Eikichigai XD, haha Eikichigai, got your handle.
Are you a photographer? Nice photos on your blog. One of my brothers is a photographer.
Anyways! Here is one of the examples of seating map of Nippon Budokan.

The seating differs from concert to concert so I cannot be sure which one they will have for Eikichi next year.
Hope you will enjoy your trip next year.
If you need help on getting tickets, maybe I can help when you need it.

Hi Nozomi. Greetings from Singapore. Am planning to attend the Stone Roses concert next year at Budokan. Quite a difference in pricing. Can you recommend the best seats that we can get? Thanks!
Anything About Japan · November 28, 2016 at 3:56 am
Hello there Bobbylove.
Thanks for your message.
Looks the ticket selling site called e+ is having pre-order on between December 10th 12:00 and December 13th 18:00.
The result will be out on December 15th 13:00.
It will be lottery so I cannot guarantee if we can get hold of the ticket but the payment method is by credit card so I will need you to pay me up front.
For Arena seat : 12,000yen (this will be the better seat :))
Stand seat : 9,000yen
System usage fee : 594yen
There will be some other fee like shipping.
The ticket seems to be delivered at the beginning of February.
For my fee structure, please see this link https://www.anythingaboutjapan.com/service/ at “Ticket booking” section.

I’m looking to buy tickets to a concert and they are for area ss what does this mean?
Anything About Japan · March 21, 2018 at 3:06 pm
Hi Dane,
I just replied to you via email also. SS area is most likely the best seating area but I am not certain since I do not know which concert you are applying for. If you give me more details, I can probably be more precise =). Let me know if you need more help.
